A favorite room

This is the spare room of a family member. I love it and always have and I think always will. The Shabby look may never go out. It is so practical too.

Being a woman I am of course interested in clothing. Style has to do with more than just clothes. It has to do with what we choose to have around us in our homes....accessories...... scent.....so many things. As we get older we also have to wear what is appropriate for age and size, and often requirements are made by employers. I have never worked anyplace that I could wear a sleeveless blouse or dress. Where we live and our activities also have to be taken into consideration.

I have found a great site where I can share some of my ideas on this blog. I am also very interested in DIY projects of all kinds so there is no telling what kind of things I will be throwing out here.
